Richard Cosby is the father of of Emmy-winning TV host Rita Cosby, who wrote about his wartime experiences as a Polish Resistance fighter and prisoner-of-war, as well as her own journey of discovery about his past, in her New York Times bestseller, "Quiet Hero."
On July 2, 2011, Mr. Cosby was awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution Americanism Award. We spoke with him and his daughter Rita after the event.
