Don't let the cold kill your garden!
In the Deep South (zone 8, 9 and 10), we sometimes get brief cold snaps down into the 20s or the teens. Tonight's low is supposed to be 18 degrees - which is really hard on plants that are used to40-degree lows. A few hours like this can harm or even kill your plants. However, if you prepare and follow these simple tricks, you can usually sail through a frost event with little to no damage.
