Using this simple $5 cable you can connect two difference microphones to your camera. Not only that, but this cable keeps the two channels separated for post production level control!

In short, you can use 2 microphones with any camera and still control the levels in post. Normally you would have to have a preamp, recorder or other audio interface which costs much more and requires you to have additional power and maybe hit another record button.
