Just got my sorcerer to lvl 80 and im testing a few things with combat styles, and testing a 1.3 gcd build as well, which really underperforms. I knew this would happen when I saw the numbers of the 1.3 gcd build but it's even worse than I suspected. Wanted to give it a try anyways since augments work in WZs in 7.1 and you can achieve 1.3 threshold. I have no dmg compared to 1.4 gcd, crit build.
Now I gotta farm out a gear for the usual 1.4 gcd build.... but worth a try.
Testing is like this, you gotta eat some very hard wz for breakfast but you can try to get out of it the maximum even if you can't perform well with the build you are testing.
The situation was clear when I saw I was facing a zerg PvP team with a healer and 2 "number farmer" sorcerers. I know I'm gonna have a really hard time not dying in this one.
So since I couldn't outperform them, I tried to outsmart them to avoid death, while I tried to support my team as much as I could. The defending phase was an escaping simulator for me, so I couldn't help too much with defending, but I made them quite busy. I believe that lowers the pressure on the doors.
In the attacking phase, I made the plant possible by revealing the shadow from stealth and double stu him.
