The rigidity of the E-Z DECK system allows it to be assembled at a staging area and then moved into position for the first pour, unlike conventional shoring systems which must be built in place.
All this work can be done safely on the ground.
Step One: Assemble the decks using EFCO Z-BEAMS and E-BEAMS along with contractor supplied plywood for each tower to be set up.
Step Two: Build a single leg in height module with four E-Z SHORE post assemblies, four top jacks, and four U-Head brackets.
Step Three: Tilt the first module only one shore post high to an upright position. Add a pre-assembled deck to the top and bolt to the U-Head brackets.
Step Four: Build another module and tilt to an upright position repeating steps two and three but excluding the top jacks and U-Head brackets.
Step Five: Lift the pre-assembled tower each time and place a single post module underneath. Connect the modules using machine bolts.
Step Six: Build each successive module required for the height of the tower and, as each module is built, lift the preceding assembly with the deck on top and connect to the lower module. Add jacks to last module of tower. [ Ссылка ]
