It's finally feeling more like fall! The chilly wind is taking the colorful leaves down from the trees, we're all pulling out extra layers of clothing we haven't needed in a while, and the mountain tops are coated with snow. There were some isolated pop up showers this afternoon and evening, bringing valley rain and graupel, and mountain snow at times... and once it cleared, the sun returned. Despite the sunshine, it was very chilly today -- not just because of the below average temperatures, but also because of the active NW wind. Luckily, the wind will be calmer for Monday.

As skies clear and wind calms overnight, temperatures will really drop. Valley lows are expected to get as cold as 26°. There is a FREEZE WARNING in place for the entire Treasure Valley, Southeast Oregon, and Western Magic Valley for overnight Sunday into Monday morning. This includes Ontario, Oregon, Boise, and Twin Falls.
