My students always find these words confusing!
Do we trip, travel or journey somewhere?
Here are the basics:
TRIP is a countable noun. We go on A trip. It might be a business trip or a summer trip with the family. Go on a trip!
TRAVEL is usually a verb. I travel all the time! I travelled to five new countries last year. You might also see it as an uncountable noun. Travel is the best way to learn about the world.
JOURNEY is going from one place to another. Maybe you go by bus, train or plane! If I ask you about your journey, I want to know if you bus ride, train ride or plane ride was okay! Was it a long journey?
