British plein air artist and tutor Vicki Norman experiments with Michael Harding's Deep Purple (Dioxazine) oil colour.

Deep Purple has tremendous use in all aspects of painting, when combined with whites it produces remarkable shades, its slight addition to transparent yellows such as Indian Yellow, can result in some extraordinary results.
