Summer of the Arts presents the Surf Zombies as part of the 2022 Friday Night Concert Series. Surf Zombies are an Iowa-based surf instrumental unit that has been playing the Midwest since 2007. Brook Hoover is a founding member and plays guitar. Ian Williams is also on guitar with Trevor Treiber on bass and Luke Ferguson on drums. They were recognized by the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with a Spirit Award in 2017.
