"I reassure you that the Romanian support towards Ukraine will continue. We will also resolutely accompany Ukraine on its European and Euro-Atlantic path of integration. And I want to reaffirm Romania's full determination to continue our multi-dimensional support for as long as it takes to win this war. We all want peace, peace in full respect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, in full respect of the UN Charter and of the fundamental principles of international law. But negotiations can only start when Ukraine is ready and the victory will look like in the way Ukraine will define it."

‘’Violation by the aggressor of all existing principles of international law and order requires that we reconsider the critical aspects of regional security. This is in the best interests of every country in the region. We cannot rely on the practice we used until recently, they failed. Ukraine is open to this conversation. But unity of efforts of the free world, will ensure the return of the world, of the rule of law, not the rule of force, and will make the Black Sea the space of peace."

STORYLINE:
Ukraine's Minister of Defence called for the return of the "rule of law" and not "the rule of force" on Thrusday.
Speaking at the Black Sea Security Conference Oleksii Reznikov said: "Unity of efforts of the free world, will ensure the return of the world, of the rule of law, not the rule of force, and will make the Black Sea the space of peace."
He called for a reconsideration of the "critical aspects of regional security."
Also speaking at the conference, Bogdan Aurescu, Romanian Minister for Foreign Affairs, pledged his support for Ukraine's membership of NATO and the EU.
He also stressed that negotiations could only begin "when Ukraine is ready and the victory will look like in the way Ukraine will define it."
In a video address to the conference, Dmytro Kuleba also called for a "resolute step forward on the path to Ukraine's NATO membership."
