Two young orphaned orangutans playing in the trees. Okto, 6-year-old male and Syifa, a 4-year-old female, are in the Orangutan Foundation's soft-release programme, in the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve, Indonesian Borneo. The orangutans are taken into the forest each day where they learn the skills needed to survive in the wild. Learning through play, like all young animals, is vital to their development.
