This upload features an excellent audience recording of Suicide performing a short (around 25 minutes) set at CBGBs in Manhattan New York City in September 1977. This recording captures the whole zeitgeist of the 1970s New York punk scene in 1 very tasty 25 minute concert. Suicide were as significant as the Velvet Underground in kick starting the entire Indie rock scene which is still as strong now as it's ever been since this electronic duo first starting traumatizing small audiences in tiny little clubs in the big apple way back when and I personally think so highly of this band that I used their first album cover as the icon for the Boots and Flicks Youtube channel. So please enjoy!
