In this video I photograph the Omega Nebula from the backyard... again.

I've photographed this deep sky object several times, but I realized I didn't have the "reach" I needed.

So, this time, I pointed the William Optics FLT 132 towards M17, and 925mm proved to be just enough.


Due to a smokey sky, I was pushed out of my broadband imaging window into narrowband territory.

I used the Optolong L-eNhance dual band pass filter this time, but I am very excited to the try the IDAS NGS1 next time!
