Lena Meyer-Taken by A Stranger (Official video) .Eurovision 2011 Germany.Lena Meyer Taken by A Stranger The Best Esc For Eurovision 2011.The contest will held in Düsseldorf, Germany, following Satellite's victory the previous year at the 2010 Contest in Oslo, Norway.
The song was written by Gus Seyffert, Nicole Morier and Monica Birkenes, and produced by Reinhard Schaub and Meyer-Landruts mentor Stefan Raab. The song was selected on 18 February 2011 on the final of Unser Song für Deutschland, the national selection used to choose a song for Lena to sing in Düsseldorf. Meyer-Landrut and Raab chose 12 songs out of 600 sent to them for the contest, and after two semi-finals, 6 songs were to compete in a final. "Push Forward" and "Taken By A Stranger" emerged as the final two songs, with "Taken by a Stranger" eventually winning through the national televote.
Released as a digital download after the show, both songs entered the top ten of the German iTunes chart, with "Taken by a Stranger" peaking at number one and "Push Forward" peaking at number three.
The music video premiered on Meyer-Landrut's official website on February 24. In the video, Meyer-Landrut is in a hotel, looking at herself in mirrors, when it's seen that there's 'another Lena' inside the mirror that tries to fight with 'the real Lena'. She's also seen in a room full of mirrors dancing sensually along with silver-dressed dancers in dark-soft-mysterious-coloured light. Finally the 'mirror Lena' and the 'real Lena' are to collide with each other when the 'real Lena' comes into the mirror and it breaks down, so both 'Lenas' are trapped in the mirror
