This is a very common question in pregnant women, especially in the first 3 months, that I am used to wearing jeans and leggings and can continue to wear them. In the firts 3 months, the uterus is the pelvic organ and it does not come out in your abdomen. So it is deep inside the pelvis and it is not going to be affected by what you wear. So you can easily continue wearing your routine jeans or leggings without affecting the pregnancy at all. After the 12 weeks, that is the 1st trimester of pregnancy, the uterus will start coming out in your abdominal wall and then it might be difficult to wear your regular jeans. Nowadays the maternity jeans where you have the elastic bands connected to that jeans so that these can be stretched. It becomes more comfortable for you so that you can wear those jeans after the 1st trimester is over. Go and shop clothes for the next 2 trimesters but in 1st 3 months, there is no harm in wearing the shape wear.
