Mumbai Police arrested MNS leader Mahendra Bhanushali for playing 'Hanuman Chalisa' on loudspeakers without permission. Mumbai police also imposed a penalty on him and warned of strict action if this is repeated. Bhanushali played ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ a day after MNS chief Raj Thackeray asked the govt to remove the loudspeakers from mosques and warned that his party will play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers outside mosques if his warning goes unheeded.
