Sloe Gin Lingfield at the Elephant & Castle, Lewes, Sept. 11th 2010
The band:
Andy and Liz live in Lingfield, and were members of the Wasps in the Woodshed until they disbanded last year. They had been playing occasionally with Andy Millen who lives in Chailey and then they met Holly, who lives in Whitstable (Kent), in March, and decided to set up a new band. They all brought in their own favoured songs and tunes and here they are:
Liz Lower: mandolin, mandola, vocal
Holly Cook: melodion, accordion, penny whistle,
Andy Millen: guitar, base guitar, banjo, vocal
Andy Lower: guitar, washboard, vocal
