MeshInspector can fix your mesh file by closing holes in it, resolving self-intersections and other significant degenerations by a fully automatic tool, so you get resulting mesh file ready for 3D printing.

Full text of the video: Hey there!
In this video, I'll be showing you how to fix mesh problems and prepare your design for 3D printing using a powerful tool called MeshInspector.
Firstly, let's open the file and see that it has quite a few issues. Although some can be fixed directly, I'll show you a quick and easy way to fix them all at once using the "Offset" tool.
Next, we need to decide on the level of detail that's good for our design. Let's say we want it to be 0.5 units, and press "Apply".
Remove all disconnected components except biggest one.
Now we can see that the mesh has no critical degenerations such as holes and self-intersections, and is ready to be printed.
With MeshInspector, you can take your 3D printing skills to the next level.
