Good morning. It was still cold for the morning commute but the cold should begin to ease, going up above the seasonal norms by the afternoon... meanwhile, the capital region and central areas could have a few isolated snow showers popping up during the first half of the day.
Then it will remain cloudy for most of the day in central regions before some light rain tonight. Mountainous regions of Gangwon-do Province could see some snow due to colder temperatures so drive with extra care if you are in that area.
Highs will be 1 to 5 degrees higher this afternoon. Seoul and Daejeon will go up to 7 degrees. Air quality will be decent across Korea but it will get dusty again tomorrow.
Frequent rain is in the forecast in southern provinces and Jeju at the end of the week but will then turning bone-chillingly cold Saturday with lows dipping to minus 9 degrees in Seoul.
