Use the Recall All Lord Skill in War and Order to catch attackers in a castle defense trap, killing their troops!

To use this Tip, send your armies out gathering. Let the attacker scout you, and attack your "empty" castle. Wait until their attack has almost hit before using the Instant Recall tip to get your army back to your castle in 3 seconds. Your attacker will be caught off-guard, and their attack troops will be killed.
