🔸 Jeffrey Siegelman is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Associate Residency Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Siegelman practices clinically at Grady Memorial Hospital. He contracted COVID-19 in early August of 2020 which progressed to Long Covid. Now back to work part-time, Dr. Siegelman lectures to both lay and medical audiences to drive awareness and understanding of Long Covid. 🔸 Sarah Cook MD is Medical Director of Crisis Intervention Services at Grady Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Emory University School of Medicine. She provides emergency psychiatric care to patients with serious mental illness, is also boarded in Addiction Medicine, and completed the core curriculum for Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Cook is a co-founder of the Gender Center at Grady and provides mental health services in an inclusive setting for LBGTQIA individuals. In addition, Dr. Cook has an interest in providing quality care to individuals with medical complications, trauma histories, and understanding the impact of intersubjective factors and social determinants of health on medical systems. She is currently an MBA candidate at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.
