Use the acupuncture/acupressure point LI4, or Large Intestine, to relieve pain in the jaw region.

Do not use this point if you are pregnant as this point can induce contractions and birth.


To Find this point - Bring your index finger and thumb together, find the most elevated position and that will be the LI4 acupuncture/acupressure point.

Apply pressure and massage the point in a circular fashion. There should be some tenderness in the area. Massage for 30 seconds and then repeat this on the other side. Repeat for a total of 3 repetitions.

You may need to perform this regularly (every hour) for best results.
