7-24-2023 (NorCal To Oregon Road Trip) : Second hike of the day at Granite Lake and Maggie's Peaks near South Lake Tahoe, California. Bayview Campground was currently closed so parking was on the side of the highway. From the highway to the start of the trailhead would be another ~0.35 miles. Steep inclines to the top! No formal trail at the peak; just look for a spot with the best views of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, Granite Lake and Cascade Lake.

Total ~4.1 miles from trailhead; ~3 hours to complete.
