Welcome to our first meeting of The Spitfire Club online! We're new to this, and this video is Part I of II. You can find the second at: [ Ссылка ]
This week, we'll be reading Breathe and Be by Kate Coombs ([ Ссылка ]) and Saturday by Oge Mora ([ Ссылка ]) . We did not write these books and we do not claim ownership over them - we encourage you to support the authors and buy their books if you love them (links above).
Today we'll do some meditation, make some puppets, and just be together. Did you make a puppet? Send us an email to show us how cool it is -- amanda@thespitfireclub.org!
The experience will be better if your girl has some materials ready ahead of time. Here's what she'll need:
- A pillow or some sort of cushy thing to sit on
- One of the following: a paper bag, an old sock that no one will miss, or a stick of some sort (popsicle stick, spoon, a stick from the yard all work)
- Blank paper, scissors, markers or crayons, and some glue or tape (or even a rubber band)
- Other things that might be useful but aren't necessary: pompoms, googly eyes, string or yarn, bows, and other found materials that can be used to make a puppet.
If your girl needs a journal, email amanda@thespitfireclub.org and we'll be happy to find a way to get one to you.
