If your E Bike is running a Shimano Steps pedal assist motor, there are a few maintenance points that you should know! Now, we're not going to be working on the actual motor in any way...after all, Shimano require anything that in depth to be carried out by a qualified Tech centre, or else you risk voiding any warranties that could apply to you!
Having said that, there are a few areas that trouble can arise from, such as connections, cables and the computer unit, as well as the standard MTB components that E-bikes use. We'll look through the sources of some potential problems and how we can address them to keep your Shimano Steps system running smooth and powerful throughout all times of year!
