This was a gifted to me and looked like a barn find. It did not have tubes in it and looked rough. I was going to use it for parts and throw the chassis away, but when taking a closer look, other than being dusty, it cleaned up well. Also, it looked like it was made pretty darn well. Nice heavy full wave bridge transformer for a 5 tuber. Good Pi output and Pi driver tank circuits. Tube keying circuit that works and even has some negative cut off grid bias. Since I had just tested a bunch of 6LQ6 tubes I had, I decided to put some of the under 100% ones I had. I'm saving the 100's for a different project. So, in went the tubes and with a little fixing here and tweaking there away it went. With very low drive in 1 watt swinging to 5, it keys around 75 and talks to 150, whistles to 200 Bird and 300 peak. Pretty good for a barn find with sub 100% tubes and low drive on a dummy load.
