The Nokia 3310 is a GSM mobile phone announced on September 1, 2000, this was replacing the popular Nokia 3210. It sold very well, being one of the most successful phones with 126 million units sold worldwide, and being one of Nokia's most iconic devices. The phone is still widely acclaimed[1] and has gained a cult status due to its durability.
Several variants of the 3310 have been released, including the Nokia 3315, 3320, 3330, 3350, 3360, 3390 and 3395.
A new mobile phone based on the iconic 3310 design was launched in 2017. The new Nokia 3310 (2017) model comes with a comprehensive update over its predecessor with a 2.4 inch color display, a 2MP rear camera and a microSD slot. Like the original, the new phone will be GSM-based on launch, and will require 2G or 2.5G network coverage for use on any phone network.
However the Nokia 3310 (2017) has been subject to copies being made. It would seem that the Nokia 3310 copies can be found on popular sites for sale under the names like “Nokia 3310 Inspired” This is how I have the misfortune of having one.
The clear issue are other than it being a fake its charger and battery are also then fake which then lead to safety issues with them both being a fire risk. The other issues I have found it has poor battery life and only one ring tone.
Does the “Nokia 3310 Inspired” have an upside will it can take two SIM cards that is about the only function I have found that could be of any use.
