Moong Dal Pakoda & Red Chutney 😍
Ingredients:
1 Cup Moong Dal
Salt as per taste
2 Green Chillies
1 inch Ginger
5 - 6 Curry Leaves
1tsp Crushed Black Pepper
Oil to Deep Fry
Method:
1. Soak moong dal for 4 - 5 hrs
2. Grind to a coarse paste.
3. Add salt and beat it well
4. Add green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and crushed black pepper. Mix
5. Wet your hands and drop small size balls in oil.
6. Deep Fry till light golden brown.
For Chutney
4 - 5 Red Chillies
1/4 Cup Grated Coconut
2 Green Chillies
1/4 of an Onion
A few Mint Leaves
4 Garlic Cloves
1 Lemon Sized Ball of Tamarind
2 - 3 tbsp of Dates Paste
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Dry Roast red chillies & grated coconut.
2. Grind all the ingredients to a fine paste using a little water
