Having 50% Battery back in just 30 minutes is incredible, but only possible with MagSafe. Apple MagSafe is able to charge beyond 100W, and possibly to the 140W as rated on the native charger that comes with the device.
I was able to reach 50% around 30 minutes of charge with the screen on. If the device was on sleep mode this number could be much lower and be in the mid-twenties. Also the full charge to 80%% was done a little bit after an hour. The charging speed of this MacBook Pro 16 inch is just unbelievable.
