In this video, we start looking at redox reactions. First we explore how redox reactions involve both oxidation and reduction and we look at this in terms of both oxygen and hydrogen. We then explore redox reactions in terms of electrons and I show you what is meant by an oxidising agent and a reducing agent.

This video is aimed at the UK A Level Chemistry specifications. Students studying International A Level Chemistry will need to check their specification.
