Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is the 8th Wonder of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sigiriya Rock or Mountain is located in the Mataka district in Sri Lanka and was for a brief period in time the capital of the country. This was when Kasyapa became king after he'd murdered his father, the king, and seized the throne from his brother, the rightful heir.
