Who has swapped a early second gen front end to a later one? Have the front clip off a 2000 just want to know if it’s worth the trouble
you need headlight wiring, core support, bumper, grill and head/tail lights. start swapping.

Just picked this thing up for next to nothing because I’ve always wanted one to build 😊got a lead on a low km 350 tbi with a 5 spd trans for $500, thinking about building this little thing into a sort of a rat rod style pickup.. anyone else done this? It needs some serious love, and I’m Looking for motivation to save this thing from the scrap yard. Let’s see your budget builds.

It was originally a 5 spd too, so it’s got a whole pedal assembly for my craigslist engine and trans find. I have a black 93 4x4 and I have lots of plans but never get anything done lol. I daily this thing, I have a 5.7l vortec I’m building for it in the back yard right now, also have a trussed Dana 30 that will be going underneath it with a 3 link and coil springs, should be fun when it’s done. I’d like a little street machine too tho, and this little red truck has potential.

Ok guys trying to put a floor shifter in my truck 1993 with the 4.3 700r trans I can’t seem to find any that will work have checked out other sites any help is welcome. Unless you swapped that 700r4 in, yoy should have a 4l60E. My 93 has one. On the cheap old Ford is like Granada's old escorts the floor shift had a cable set up so so easy.
