The basis for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) model is that all human personalities fall into just sixteen distinct classifications. When it comes to people’s inner life, the mind and personality, it works a lot like blood types.
My type, INTJ, is defined as introverted, intuitive, thinking, judging.
On the good side, it means a tendency to be rational and informed, but also to remain curious and open to new ideas. However, on the darker side, INTJs can be arrogant, overly critical and combative at times.
INTJ is often called The Architect personality. I do feel like my inner life consists of a lot of shuffling, organizing and evaluating of ideas. I admit sometimes I wish it would stop.
