Scantech joined Alibaba Group’s program GIFTS FROM COUNTIES to digitize and preserve the lacquerware of Yi ethnic group in China. Using the handheld #3dscanner KSCAN-Magic, we created 1:1 and vivid digital replicas of the exquisite lacquerware. 👏👏👏
✨✨✨The #lacquerware is intangible #culturalheritage from Xide County in China, a place where this ancient art form has been passed down for more than 1700 years.
