Tonight at The Concert Pub North, it was an evening of Stevie Ray Vaughan music brought to us through the courtesy of Tommy Katana and Texas Flood. Texas Flood has become one of the premier blues bands in all of North Texas. Evolving from the original tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Texas Flood pays tribute to the legends as well as the future of the blues through their own music and style. With an in-your-face show and raw high energy playing Tommy Katona takes the listener on a journey through the blues. The club was packed to the hilt and everybody was having a blast this night. Besides Stevie Ray Vaughan's great and powerful music, Texas Flood also graced us with some great tunes from a few other artists, such as Jimi Hendrix. These guys do a fantastic job recreating an evening of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Without a doubt, this is the best SRV Tribute that exists today. I'm sure glad I made it out here tonight.
