If you have ever had a hard callus on the bottom of your foot, it may not have been "just a callus"! Clogged sweat glands, medically termed intractable plantar keratomas (IPKs) are hard embedded callus like areas to the bottom of the foot. They are sometimes referred to as "seeds" by patients because they will pick out a core of skin that represents a small seed. These can often be cured after a few treatments in the office. Watch to see if you have one of these!!
