Modern day Huawei phones do not have Google Play Services built into the device due to American restrictions with Huawei. Apps like GSpace and GBox aim to bring these Google dependencies to Huawei phones by creating a virtual machine and injecting GMS into the apps downloaded by the user. However, these apps are closed source and users put great trust into the unknown developers behind the app to not steal user credentials or application data.
