Testing out brakes and tires at the start of each season. I’ve had to do emergency braking maybe 6 times in the past three seasons. Without the ABS it can be dangerous to fully depress a rear brake as engine braking has better power and safer stopping power. Once it starts to skid (which is super easy) the tail can whip 45’degrees to the side.
Feels like the correct stopping power on this model would be divided:
60% front
30% downshift
10% rear brake
Could probably do it in 3 seconds once the weather warms up, but the risk of losing traction on the front increases.
