Here is what you'll need!

INGREDIENTS
1 cans of crescent roll
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Melted butter, for brushing
Icing
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 teaspoons milk
PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 350℉/177℃
2. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla.
3. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into 4 rectangles of dough.
4. Pinch closed the diagonal cut to form one solid piece of dough.
5. Cut each rectangle of dough into 4 pieces, then stretch each piece into 1x8 inch strips.
6. Sprinkle lightly with sugar.
7. Gently lift and twist dough into a loose spiral rope.
8. Twist the dough into a coil.
9. Place a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing each danish about 2 inches apart.
10. Press the centers with a finger to make a well for the filling. Stretch sides a bit if necessary.
11. Add a teaspoon of filling to each roll.
12. Lightly brush with melted butter.
13. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
14. Allow danish to cool for 10-15 minutes before icing.
15. In a small bowl, stir together powdered sugar and milk.
16. Use a spoon to drizzle icing over the tops of the danish and enjoy!
