In this video, we will show how to hardwire the 5-volt rear view mirror or dash camera to a 12-volt fuse box without the use of step down converter in the 2019 Toyota RAV4. This operation is done by using the 12-volt cigarette lighter adapter extension cord. This way you will be able to retain the original adapter that comes with the device. The 2019 Toyota RAV4 is used as an example but this method will work in any vehicle.
