In this video, we explore Zaanse Schans, a beautiful and historic Dutch village located just outside of Amsterdam. It is known for its iconic windmills, wooden houses, and traditional Dutch crafts. We visit a workshop to see the process of how Dutch wooden clogs or "Klompen" are made. We also visit De Kat, a working windmill and take you inside to show the gears and mechanisms that power the mill. After tasting some cheese varieties, we finally head to to Amsterdam for a walking tour and end our day with dinner at Madras Diaries.
