"Future of Work" is an exciting conference for our young people here in Marlborough, showcasing the workplace of tomorrow - and inspiring them to become part of the region’s future.
The line-up includes:
* A headline keynote speaker – sharing stories of inspiring possibilities in the workforce of tomorrow;
* Workshops – smaller group sessions covering employability skillsets for the future (like how to write a killer CV, and ace the interview for your dream job);
* Inspiring stories - where young people developing bright career paths share their lessons with our youth; and
* Interactive industry workstations – these industry demonstrations and interactive displays highlight technological tools and changes and a vast variety of career pathways. Attendees get to have a go with some pretty amazing tech and open their eyes to some awe-inspiring possibilities.
The objective is to open the eyes of our local young people to the incredible opportunities that exist on their doorstep – and for all Marlborough youth discover a purposeful pathway after they finish school.
Future of Work is a proud partnership between Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough and the Marlborough District Council - and made possible with the collaboration and support of a huge number of industries, businesses, organisations and individuals.
