There's nothing quite like a cold, frothy glass of chocolate milk. Well wouldn't it be nice to be able to have chocolate syrup ready to go whenever you wanted? Without having to go get the bottled stuff from the store? It's easier than you may think.
1C - Sugar
1/2C - Processed Dutch Cocoa Powder
1 Pinch Salt
1C - Water
1tsp - Vanilla Extract
Mix these together (hold off on the vanilla) and bring to a boil. Once it's boiling set a timer for 1 minute and stir CONSTANTLY. Watch carefully, this process will become very energetic very quickly. Once your mix starts to bubble up vigorously just kill the heat. Once cooled add your vanilla and enjoy.
P.S. I bought a $7 frother online and wow! What a difference.
