Everyone knows there are certain essential camping items like a shelter, sleeping bag, and food that have to be a part of any motorcycle camping adventure. There are those who enjoy the challenge of moto camping with as few items as possible and while I understand the desire to travel light, I personally am a fan of being a bit more comfortable than that while motocamping. For me, there are a few pieces of moto camping gear that may not be strictly essential but are worth bringing along on any trip to ensure I'm as comfortable as possible and therefore enjoying my motorcycle camping trip as much as possible. These luxury items may take up a little more room in your motorcycle luggage, but I think they're worth the sacrifice. Motocamping gear like a folding chair, pillow, extra blanket, camp shoes, and of course booze make for a fun and enjoyable trip. Camping off of your motorcycle is always fun, but it's even more fun when you can do so comfortably!
