2011 Opening Party 11th of June:
We all remember last season's closing party, probably the best in the history of Amnesia Ibiza.
After winning the award for "Best Club of the World" again at this year's Winter Music Conference in Miami, Amnesia is obliged to offer this summer one of the best opening nights of all times. The date of the taking off is Saturday 11th of June.
Paul Kalkbrenner, the most hyped artist of the moment, will headline a very strong line-up. It will be his first appearance on the island and is supported by an extensive and successful discography as well as having sold out all of his shows in the past months. The expectation to see the hero of the film Berlin Calling (Bpitch Control) is very high. Some of his latest releases like Aaron and Sky and Sand have become dance music anthems.
Mar-T, Les Schmitz, Caal Smile, Brian Cross and Amo & Navas return home after having exported the Balearic sound around the globe this past winter.
Davide Squillace (HideOut) and Mathias Tanzmann (Moon Harbour), two artists who are making waves in the underground scene of the island, are completing the line up accompanied by tINI, the young star from Loco Dice's Desolat label.
Amnesia continues to pioneer the club culture bringing the latest sound technology to the island once again, introducing a very unique and brand new sound system, in addition to a renewed and spectacular light system that has never seen before in Ibiza.
All this will provide a unique show that will have all the usual magic of the opening night, a special assembly and a sound environment that will be recorded for the new Amnesia´s DVD.
