The Congo Basin is the second-largest rainforest in the world, often referred to as the Earth's African lung. It absorbs more greenhouse gas than the entire continent emits.

The northern Congo is home to the Western Lowland Gorillas. Thousands live here, nowhere else in the world you can find such a density in gorillas. The area is very remote. We went on a safari at Odzala-Kokoua National Park and Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve with the Congo Conservation Company - watching gorillas, elephants, buffalos and many other animals.
