This Version 2 uses the same principles but uses a different route to achieve the same outcome. I jumped up onto to the ledge above the tree directly from the grappling section, but for skipping this puzzle during casual gameplay, It's easier to grab the ledge that is above the tree by doing a Sorrow Jump from the platform next to the tree.

Also, the easiest way to Jet Dash into the Hades statue from on top of the tree is to first Jet Dash right around to it's back and enter directly through his "spine" area. Otherwise you will struggle to enter the statue due to collisions that will block you next to it's sides.
