BEEF BROCCOLI STIR FRY | How to make tender and saucy BEEF BROCCOLI | PINOY SIMPLE COOKING

Here is how to make BEEF BROCCOLI STIR FRY :
BEEF BROCCOLI STIR FRY RECIPE :
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb beef, cut into thinly strips
1 large onion, chopped
7 cloves garlic, minced
1 thumb garlic, julienned
1 cup broccoli
6 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
For the sauce:
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 tbsp water
For the coating:
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combined all the sauce ingredients. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine the coating ingredients. Coat beef with the mixture. Set aside
3. Heat water in a pot to cook broccoli. Bring to boil. Simmer broccoli for 3 mins or until crisp tender. Remove from the pot then ice bath to stop the cooking process.
4. In a pan or wok, heat oil over medium high heat. Cook beef by batch. Cook each side for 30 seconds or until browned. Remove from the pan. Remove oil rendered in the pan leave 2 tbsp of oil.
2. In the same pan, add oil and onion. Cook until translucent.
3. Add ginger. Cook for 30 sec.
4. Add garlic, cook until lightly browned.
5. Add back the beef. Stir fry until well combined.
6. Add the sauce, stir until all beef are well coated with sauce.
7. Add broccoli, stir fry until well coated with sauce.
8. Pour in the hoisin sauce, stir until chicken and broccoli are completely covered.
9. Garnish with sesame seeds. Continue to simmer over medium heat until it reaches your preferred consistency.
12. Serve and Enjoy! Best served with steamed rice.
