The latest acappella track brought you by Saabik Poetry from Switzerland and Essam from Seattle.
This is their first collaboration since both artists worked on the song “Yema” from Essam’s debut album 12.12.
Produced by renowned vocals only artist and producer Ilyas Mao from Canada. Ilyas has made a name for himself in the acappella/vocals only genre, working on nasheed / poetry / soundtracks and much more.
Despite the unrest around the world, we wanted to bring something upbeat and positive to the community and worked with a lot of local children to produce this video. Our next generation are essential to our future and getting them to be a part of a positive and conscious project like this was a pleasure.
As Muslim creatives we want to express our creativity be it through spoken word, poetry, nasheed or any genre in a positive light. So we’ve created something that adults and children of all faiths can enjoy.
