A brief demonstration of the Yamaha SH3 Silent System. Yamaha's latest SH3/SC3 silent system features a new type of "Key Sensor" to measure key-stick velocity. Yamaha names this "Articulation Sensor System". It is a non-contact continuous detection electromagnetic inductive sensor. This method greatly improves the nuances of key stick velocities vs. the previous gray scale optical sensors. In addition, both SH3 and SC3 silent systems increase to number of internal voices. SH3 to 25 vs. 20 on the SH2. SC3 to 12 vs. 10 on the SC2. Also, both systems include Bluetooth Audio (input only) and MIDI connectivity. The SH3 can now record 2 tracks.
